A member of the Reader Extender product family, the SPX-7500 connects 1 or more readers and associated door/gate hardware over any two wire cable, twisted or non-twisted, to any Wiegand or MagStripe based control panel. The RS-485 connection is totally supervised and secure . The base pair will support a single door and reader. Using Cypress Suprex® Lynk technology and the EXP-2000 expansion module allows for the addition of as many as 7 doors and readers over the same RS-485 connection.
