General Information
The MC 240 series are universal magnetic contacts used in both alarm and security access control systems for the protection of doors, gates and windows against unauthorised opening. Both MC 240 assemblies, e.g. magnetic reed and magnet, are encased in metal, each in screw form which enables direct mounting on wooden or plastic elements without the use of any additional accessories. Using accessories, these assemblies can be surface- or recess-mounted in holes prepared in metal and other materials. The extensive variety of installation accessories on offer allows for easy installation of such contacts in almost any kind of recess in an element of interest or on its surface. Our contacts are suitable for installation on fire-resistant steel doors, safes, deposit boxes and roll-up garage doors etc.
